We were in London a year ago. Most of the shops had English and Arabic signs......like we have English and Spanish signs. One other distressing thing, our hotel had a separate ‘Halal’ room service menu. Pray for the USA.......and pray for Britain.
Next time you go to London, stay at the Novotel. I stay at no other hotel when I travel throughout Europe. It is a great hotel (you can see Big Ben from the hotel) and the prices are reasonable. You DEFINITELY are not going to have any silly Halal nonsense or Arabic signs anywhere. Please do that because I think you will appreciate it.
London isn’t the UK, or even just England. Nor is the centre of London the same as the rest of London. Arabs have been here since the 60’s, esp in London.
Menus?. Hahal menus are there because there will be an audience for it. Dosent mean you’ll get one in other UK cities. In that regard, they are no different to veggie menus or kosher menus.
And cities by their history and nature are cosmopolitan. Using London as a fact of alleged UK muzzie-ism is flawed. Just as NY or LA dosent represent the US.
