Rick Perry: 'We Don'T Have The Resources' To Secure Texas Border

HOUSTON, Texas—Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) appeared on Fox News’ Fox and Friends show and said Texas lacks the resources and manpower to secure the 1,200 mile Texas border with Mexico.

The comment sent shock waves through a Texas grassroots discussion thread on Facebook this morning of activists who are seeking a special session call from the Governor to deal with the issue of border security.

The good credible solutions have been voiced 20 million times...I don't need to repeat them.

In fact for 30+ years, the American people have begged, petitioned, voted, screamed, demanded relief and protested this lawless country killing invasion...See CA 187...They held a free election... A free election...The majority won big...The feds working in concert with their state level co-conspirators burned the ballots and declared the election illegal....

The applause and cheers could be heard from Mexico city...

I think sending the TX National Guard and Rangers to the border says a lot more than doing nothing.

Perry runs around the country bragging about Texas’ ecomony/wealth. Saying we don’t have the resources to stop this is just embarrassing. Even AG Abbott is calling for resources to be used to stop this invasion flow.

Bull crap, here is my plan, I would put together a volunteer Milita to work with the National guard to patrol the border. Then I would begin a very long road “construction” / “study” and slow the vehicle traffic to and from all border roads and choke travel via vehicle to and from Mexico until someone cried uncle!
