To me it means telling the truth as you know it and observed it about an individual you knew and served with in the military, particularly in combat units.
If by ‘swiftboating’ they mean the accurate reporting of someone’s cowardly past (like John F’in Kerry) then yes...
All the people bitching about ‘swiftboating’ should be made to answer why, since it was all true, it presents an issue for them. Make them show the proof, not some comment/denial made by the target or those backing his quest for power, that it was in any way false. Actual documented proof. And do not ever let them change the subject until they provide proof or admit they lied.
