Hillary Clinton's first week of book sales versus Sarah Palin's is not even close
The Washington Examiner ^ | 19 Jun 2014 | T. Becket Adams

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues to tour the nation, promoting her new book, Hard Choices, and a possible 2016 candidacy.

Her book tour, filled with gaffes and missteps, has lagged and perhaps failed to live up to expectations. But that's not all. Her book, when compared to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's political memoir, Going Rogue, has woefully underperformed in sales.

And it’s pretty cut and dried.

Palin's book, which was released the same year President Obama moved into the White House, sold approximately 496,000 copies in its first week of release, according to figures cited by the New York Times. That’s almost half a million copies in one week.

In contrast, Clinton, with all her softball interviews and a massive amount of free publicity from an excited press, sold only 100,000 copies from its Tuesday release through Saturday, Politico reported.

And because “explanatory journalism” is all the rage these days, here’s a chart to help you visualize Palin’s first week of book sales versus Clinton’s:

After that I would bet most of those books end up in a landfill or used for killing cockroaches

They kill the cockroaches by making them read the book?? Man, that's just cruel.

Not sure which media you’re referring to, but Hillary’s reviews I’ve seen in the MSM have ranged from tepid to disastrous.

You have to remember that the MSM is much more controlled these days by the Chicago Mob than the Clinton Crime Family.

That’d be............well, just another slap in the face. It’s almost like I don’t even feel it anymore.

P.S. Do they even have such a thing as “civics” class anymore? LOL!

Liberals will have an excuse for this.

Liberals don't read.
They don't have to.
They already have all the answers.
Just ask them.

Finally. I was beginning to think you had followed Laz........

:-)

Did you see the graph of sales? Most of them are likely from unions and mandatory buys from her "followers".

I'm predicting she won't get the nomination. She'll either withdraw, or the DNCE will find a younger, less abrasive, easier on the eyes and ears to look at and listen to candidate to sell their pap.

Hillary’s book sales are down since Kerry hasn’t yet placed the State Department order for 2 million copies for all our embassy’s that haven’t yet been attacked and overrun.

I figure that every library in the world will buy Hillary’s book. Not so with Sarah, yet. Nobody’s ever read any book written by the Clintons, not so with Sarah.

How much of Hill-liar-y’s “sales” were give-aways or “targeted” sales (you know, the Union guys who are “warned” that they buy the book or no jobs come their way)?

Few Liberals can read. Those that do, cannot comprehend.

Disagree. Some of the best wordsmiths who post on Free Republic are liberals in mild disguise.

“WOW! that’s scary!”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The picture itself is not but when you realize that she is being very seriously promoted as the right person to be the next president of this country it is terrifying to realize that we have sunk to such a depth. Is Pee Wee Herman available? I know of no reason to believe he would not be at least as good a candidate as Hillary Clinton. How about Tina Fey, her impersonation of Sarah Palin would be a better president than Hillary.
