Then the original issue of targeting of conservative groups
I say this is as an IT professional 30 plus years of experience.
in any private company....
if you had records the federal government required you to maintain by law....
And you lost them by the crash of one hard drive.
You would not only be fired....you would be sued....and prosecuted.
In the professional IT world ..the loss of this data from one hard drive crash would constitute criminal malpractice.
it the equivalent of having an architects building collapse from a fundamental flaw and incompetence...
in IT it is a given that Hard Drives will fail.. its your job as a professional engineer to design systems that have redundancy so data is not lost
Wouldn’t the records of the targeted groups contain notes, memos and e-mails on the course of action the IRS was going to take?
