"Trey Gowdy OWNS Irs Commissioner John Koskinen at irs targeting hearing.

Trey Gowdy vs Irs Commissioner. IRS Commissioner John Koskinen testifies before the House Oversight and Government. Trey Gowdy relentlessly hammered IRS Commissioner John Koskinen on the missing IRS emails and on how Koskinen hasn't personally seen evidence of criminal wrongdoing at the IRS, which Gowdy found particularly outrageous because Koskinen hasn't read the relevant criminal statutes."

Gowdy lectured Koskinen on the "negative inference" drawn by the inability of the IRS to retrieve these emails, and said if a taxpayer is being prosecuted by the IRS a jury would look on them with more than a little suspicion.

He pressed Koskinen on how he knows there was no criminal wrongdoing. At one point, Koskinen exasperatedly said he's relying on "common sense," at which point Gowdy went off and lectured him, shouting, "You don't have any idea of criminal wrongdoing or not!"

When Koskinen dismissed the idea of a "conspiracy" Republicans have thought up, Gowdy shouted, "You're repeating a talking point by our colleagues on the other side!"

I feel Gowdy has been blessed in these days.

He may be the only one with the (loud) cajones to stand up...

Mr. Gowdy was laying a basis for charge of high crimes based upon spoliation of evidence.
Some of the Dems gave pretty lukewarm kinda support to Koskinen. Getting scared about election...er..reelection time.

That smirking SOB at the IRS makes me sick. Democrat tool.

The absolute contempt these miserable bureaucrats have for the American people fully illustrates how out of control the bureaucracy is. They think they answer to no one.

Trey Gowdy said: “It is time for Special Council, Mister Chairman.”

If Chairman Issa does not also call for Special Council, then what would Issa be trying to cover up?

Did anyone ask the commissioner why Lerner took the fifth if there is nothing to hide? I’d love to see him stammer thru that one.

First POTUS candidate who says he will appoint Trey Gowdy

If I’m ever empaneled on a federal court jury to hear a criminal case over taxes, I know right now how I’m going to vote. That agency deserves no standing whatsoever in a court of law.

It seems more and more, every day, that they are pushing the public to a breakable point. What their plan(s) are no one knows right now. Hopefully, this ship can be righted, but it isn’t looking too good as long as guys like Boehner, McCarthy and McCain stick around.

But if it’s a fight they want, then they just might get it. If that happens, they might just get a little more than they bargained for….

Toss in a good number of the military, who I’m sure wouldn’t just blindly support any of these fools, especially now. And I don’t think their master plan is going to work out the way they want.

Two things: I’ve followed Trey Gowdy’s career since before he got to congress. He is relentless, clever, and annoyingly persistent...knowing just how to unnerve a liar. He’s a good man and the sort that President Obama should be very worried about.

Second, Judy Woodruff vouched for the character of that IRS commissioner on Fox News yesterday. I usually like Woodruff, but this thing just stinks so bad, how could she back that arrogant SOB? I don’t suspect he did anything wrong, but he sure is willing the shovel the poop for Lois Lerner and company.

Finally, if the GOP lost two years of emails, the entire country would come to a stand-still until they were found or someones head rolled. Bottom Line: It’s good to be a Democrat safely tucked into the bosom of the media.

They had her emails on tape but it was too complicated to retrieve them, but they didn’t try to either (that K-man knows of)

Jazon Chaffetz starts at about 1:50:00.

We wouldn’t want Trey Gowdy to be the President — because he would be perfect as the Attorney General.
