I recall the liberal imperative that Elian Gonzalez MUST be reunited with his father in Cuba at all costs.

I was thinking about that today, too. Elian had loving family here who were completely able to take care of him--no burden to taxpayers at all--and the Clintons spared no expense in kidnapping him and sending him back to Cuba to be Castro's pawn. Now, here are all of these kids, whose presence is puzzling (much like the post turtle), who can never be anything but a burden on the taxpayers--and the left apparently has no desire to send them back.
