Nothing follows.

Republicans say they want to be the fiscally responsible, pro life(ish) wing of the Progressive Movement. That’s the only difference. Of course, such a thing cannot ever really prevail.

IIRC it was Mr Reagan who once said “to Republicans every day is the 4th of July.To democrats every day is April 15th.

What is the difference between Democrats and Republicans? Not much. We have liberals and liberals light. Both parties are run by global interests and big money not by “we the people”

Lately the only difference has been the spelling.

A democrat gets in a cab and takes it across town and gives the cab driver a $50 tip from taxpayer funds and tells him “Vote Democrat!”.
A Republican gets into a cab and takes it across town, gets out, doesn’t give him any tip, and tells him “Vote Democrat!”.
(an oldie).

Kal seems to overlook the vast and rapid changes in American demographics. America is no longer your parents country.

Republicans should focus less on scandals and policy failures and begin promoting a positive, inspirational and motivational message that reminds Americans of who we are, where we came from and what we can be again.

Cal.

I'm old enough to remember when you made sense.

We can do both.

"Republicans should focus less on scandals and policy failures and begin promoting a positive, inspirational and motivational message that reminds Americans of who we are, where we came from and what we can be again."

That's exactly what Ted Cruz is doing, while at the same time not ignoring scandals, corruption, lawlessness, and failed economic/domestic/foreign polices.

Democrats have convictions. They know what to do with power when they get it and how to isolate, even punish, any member of their party who dares to take a different position on an issue...Bob Beckel, longtime 'rat consultant and operative, inadvertently gave away a keystone in the 'rat political playbook this afternoon on "The Five" when he provided what he thought was a tip on successful interpersonal relationships - his advice: never ever admit to your spouse that you've been cheating - even if caught in bed with another woman, tell you wife that she has bad eyesight - maybe it should be called the Beckel Law and be inscribed along with Alinsky's Rules for Radicals somewhaere in the DNC headquarters......

Here’s the REAL difference......Republicans THINK their constituents are smart and don’t have to EXPLAIN things.....and Democrats KNOW their constituents are STUPID and will but ANYTHING they tell them!!!

The democrat party has morphed into the CPUSA.
The republican party has moved left to fill the void.
We don’t have a republican party anymore.
