Not buying the whole bad weather thing. Lots of folks spent lots of money here in the Northeast - new tires, rock salt, shovels, snow plows, etc. Also, generators, candles, and canned goods. Plus, every time there’s a threat of a snow storm everybody runs to the supermarket to buy eggs, bread, milk, and toilet paper along with a goody or two.
