President Obama gave a pep talk to Senate Democrats over drinks at the White House this week, telling them a rising economy and ObamaCare’s healthy numbers should give them optimism about keeping their majority in November. As Zero Hedge pointed out, the rising economy is in the process of being manufactured. They dumped all the bad news into the first quarter, resulting in a 2.9% decline. They'll pull all "good news" from both the first quarter and the upcoming third quarter to make the second quarter look really good going into the election.

This is the best summer I’ve had since I was a kid! The Democrats are stumbling around like a bunch of drunks trying to play hopscotch.

One of the newspapers in the state ran an editorial that was titled something like
