California law makes it even tougher..getting a tenant who doesn’t pay rent can take up to six months to get rid of them..my Mom is a landlord, she has had to evict people before, its a HUGE hassle and they know that..the laws here protect the tenant, not the homeowner

Actually it’s very easy to evict a lone boarder in a home the landlord lives in, in CA. All that is required is a 30 day notice at which time the police can be called to evict her. In this case their attorneys, the courts, the cops, everyone involved is unaware of this eviction exception.
