Win the Senate back first, then defeat the RINOs. It is a long War. Don’t lose the war because of bad decisions in the smaller skirmishes.

"Bryan24's exactly the kind of Republican we can rely on! Coached to think we'll vote in his best interests just because we have an "R" after our name. Now, once you're re-elected, Thad, you'll vote exactly as Mitch and Harry tell you to vote, right?"

"I like butterscotch."

“I’d like to see what a second party looks like first.”

We now know that the second party; i.e., the Republicans, look like. Followers of Saul Alinsky are akin to disciples of the devil (whom Saul Alinsky dedicated a book to). They should be treated as the disciples of the devil that they are!

You think it is more important to let Harry Reid continue as Majority leader in the Senate, and all of the investigative COmmittee chairmanships in Dem hands so that you can get 1 GOP Establishment guy out?

GOPe think we will be like a battered woman and just keep taking them back. Nope, this was a line that should never have been crossed. I’m telling everyone, those who don’t pay any attention to politics until it is time to vote, what was done and they are shocked and furious.

It’s time to talk to our friends and neighbors, politics can no longer be a an election year phenomena it needs to be a an everyday effort to keep track of the people who are supposed to ‘represent’ us in the ‘halls of power’. They are at it everyday and we need to be too.

It does no good to have a majority in the senate if that majority is made up with senators that are no different than the minority.

I tried to find out which 3rd parties exist in Ms, the only one I found was the Libertarian Party (LP) but I would be surprised if the much better Constitution Party did not exist in Ms too. They claim to be a nation party on the ballot in all 50 states. Perhaps someone from Ms can tell us which 3rd parties exist there and if they are running a conservative for the Senate. I think it might be to late for an independent to gain ballot access.

What does the establishment GOP do in power? Feather their own nests. What do they do out of power? Feather their own nests. There’s no downside. Plus, one seat in Mississippi isn’t going to make a difference, so don’t get hysterical.

I had half hoped when I saw the headline ‘suicide’ and ‘Mississippi’ that it was Cochran that was suicided...

Let the MS vote fraud investigation begin.

In the meantime...

I’ve posted this around the net a number of times and do so again inasmuch as THIS is a constantly recurring problem and some may not grasp how widespread it is. And now that the RNC has OPENLY declared war on the Tea Party, it should be clear to all why I have for a few decades cautioned my many friends to NOT SEND THE RNC A NICKLE.

Over the years – when, to steal a line from Billy Joel, I wore a younger man’s clothes – I was involved with several pretty solid conservative candidates for Congress. One was a Democrat (Lawrence Patton McDonald) – because that was the only way he could win in that district. Those old-timers who know Larry’s record will tell you that he was a solid an anti-communist America Firster and more Republican than the Pubbies in nearby districts at the time. (His mother’s cousin was General George Patton from whom he got the middle name – and his incredible resolve and love of this country.) How ironic that he, like General Patton, was also assassinated by the communists they both despised. It was my honor to introduce Larry at his last public speech in the district before that ill-fated KAL007 flight!

Those other candidates ran as Republicans and each had to pass my rigid litmus test or I went looking for someone who did. For that reason, I hooked up with what the TRADITIONAL country club Pubbie establishment types believed were too radical for their refined tastes. I served as treasurer for several and in other capacities for more.

As those campaigns began to unfold and it became clear to the country clubbers that these guys 1) had a shot and 2) were pretty independent thinkers who would be hard to keep on the reservation once they got sworn in, the local Pubbies communicated that information to the Republican National HQ types who rather quickly sent in campaign “professionals” ostensibly to lock up the impending victory.

Instead, in nearly every case to which I was privy, these “professionals” proceeded to TORPEDO our guy’s campaign in subtle but effective ways.

From that experience I can tell you that the Pubbies at the HQ in D.C. would rather have a Democrat win a given district than have a pubbie up there who would embarrass them by refusing to follow the party line.

If YOU become involved in campaigns for solidly conservative, America and Constitution loving, hard-nosed, independent thinking candidates in 2014 and beyond – and I pray many of you do — please DO NOT trust any of those folks from GOP HQ in Washington. If they want to send you no-strings cash for your campaign, take it. If, however, they “suggest” sending in one of their “professionals,” tell them to fuggetaboutit.

They ARE WHO GOT US INTO THIS MESS AND THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS!!!!

“The common and continual mischief of the spirit of Party is
sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to
discourage and restrain it.” G. Washington

(BTW, My genealogical research informs me that my 5th great-grandfather, one John Carpenter, was one of George Washington’s Virginia neighbors and fought with GW in the French and Indian War and the Revolution. Prior to that, John traveled with GW during his survey of the Northwest Territories.)

"They did nothing when we imposed RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE.
They did nothing when I imposed gay marriage against the Mass. Constitution.
They did nothing when we went after Sen. Thompson.
You did nothing when we went after Gov. Palin and her children.
They did nothing when we went after that woman we called a witch.
They did nothing when we went after the Speaker.
And they will do nothing now."

Then I guess the best thing to do would be to have McDaniel get the nomination from the third party with ballot access (this is key) and then have a grassroots campaign to force every Republican official in the state to endorse and actively support him. Cochran must be made to feel a pariah by the rest the Republican Party.

GOPe think we will be like a battered woman and just keep taking them back

The evidence and past proves exactly that. I read a number of Posts from Kentucky Freepers who posted that they were going to vote for McConnell in the General. After he called Conservatives every dirty name in the book and said that it is his mission in life to crush them. So, yes, history shows that they are correct.

I think the sore loser law prevents McDaniel from being on the ballot.

From wiki

"In United States politics, a sore-loser law is a law which states that the loser in a primary election can't then run as an independent in the general election.[1] In most states, these laws do not apply to presidential candidates. Many states accomplish the same requirement by having simultaneous registration dates for the primary and the general election;

Hmmm says run as an independent, so it might be possible for him to run as a CP, LP or RP. He was the CP Keynote speaker a few years back so I would imagine the CP would be happy to have him if the registration deadline would allow that.

Good article Cotton

"Years of betraying its base has put the GOP establishment in a bind. They can’t raise money off their base anymore,....

People I know here hang up on RNC callers and return their prepaid mail with "NO" written in big letters.

I hope MS will respond to this outrage with Rage and Fury.....

No, the time for that is past. We have to let the Dims beat the RINO this Nov. and then beat the Dim the next time around.
The RINOs must be taught a lesson. If the RINOs are going to be disloyal to the conservative wing, then we will be to the RINO wing.

The news is they are the same.

The year was 1968 and yes, Ms went third party already

Add lamar alexander of TN to that list. RINO DELUXE votes with dems 62% of the time, voted to restrict Military pensions, pro amnesty.

Our conservative state Rep Joe Carr is running against him, but is failing to be a show in West TN, staying close to home with his campaign visits. Using social media to spread his message. 1 positive TV ad. lamar has a huge war chest + National GOP, Newt endorsing the OATH BREAKER OF 2 terms and OUT! He’s one of the hand picked RINOS by the establishment gop rinos, good old socialist big gov’t elite.
