It is interesting that any time posters oppose the power of the police and the courts this is a common accusation. It almost always comes up. The assumption that opposition to government power, police and cops is evidence of law breaking. Many times your statement manifests itself as “smoked much dope lately?” particularly when the question at hand is drug related property seizures. I never think highly of that argument by the way.

Yeah, nobody like is when cops show up. That means somebody’s fun is over, or something bad has happened. Otherwise they wouldn’t be showing up. People don’t call police unless there is a perceived reason. That doesn’t mean that there is always lawbreaking, but police were contacted for something. Do we dislike the govt and police simply because they exist? Or do we dislike police because their attitude sucks? The latter is reasonable
..the former speaks volumes.
