A close adviser to Hillary Clinton agrees with Republicans that it’s time for an independent prosecutor to investigate alleged IRS targeting of conservative groups and missing e-mails.

The IRS is the strong arm of the federal gubbamint. Never again should this sort of power be used to alter the outcome of an American election or used to intimidate honest law abiding Americans.
