I’d be upset if they named a paint after me and didn’t pay me.
Yeah, but as an employee of the company and creating something using company resources and facilities while being paid by the company does not entitle the employee to any other compensation or ownership of said creations.
They named the paints after him, probably as some kind of recognition for his efforts...I could live with that, but I would prefer a nice bonus or raise...
Afterall, employment is a barter arrangement...the company gives me some of their $$ for my knowledge, time and services. Once that arrangement is no longer acceptable to either or both parties...it’s time to move on.
