It wasn’t that Black people voted. It was the fact that they voted illegally.
Yes, they voted illegally, but they probably weren’t all black, and the idea came from a few lily-white GOPe operatives. We need to focus on the real problem, and it’s not black voters, it’s the operatives in our own party who directed the effort, and no doubt couldn’t care less if a significant number of the people they were encouraging to vote were doing so illegally. That’s who needs the comeuppance, not black voters many of whom were probably innocent dupes in the matter.
At least that’s how I see it.
