US State Dept condemns killing of Israeli teens, urges restraint

The US State Department condemned the killing of the three kidnapped Israeli teens following the discovery of their bodies Monday night.

"The harm that has been done to these teenagers is a tragedy," said State Dept. spokeswoman Jen Psaki at a press briefing.

Psaki said the department continued to urge restraint on both sides "in spite of the tragedy and the enormous pain on the ground as a result."

Israel has shown tremendous restraint in times past.
I think they are about to say “screw the US” and do what they have to do.

I like the double standards when the terrorists killed 3,000 Americans we sent an army half way around the world to punish them and those that gave them aid and rightly so. But now terrorists abduct and kill Israeli teenagers and Israel has to show restraint?
