For me, July 4th has become the most depressing day of the year.

Watching people celebrate National Beer, Fireworks and Hot Dogs Day on July 4th saddens me beyond words.

I think modern conservatives should mark July 4 by displaying black flags and avoiding the celebrations altogether.

An angry mass march of American patriots on government sites, particularly the National Mall, strikes me as being much more appropriate.
