It's good to find somebody in my corner on this one

Rude awakening is coming your way. Kook is not a label most of us take to kindly. And, what the hell - IBTZ.

Much as it pains me to say it, it's time to put Party Unity first

After a few decades of voting for the "lesser of two evils" we now get pure evil dedicated to defeating constitutional conservatives, from those who want "party unity".

You want "party unity"? Cochran can go out in style, saying he's not proud of the actions of his campaign, and step aside. The nomination goes to McDaniels. Otherwise, there is no party. I'd rather not have a majority in the US Senate with what we've seen from the majority of the 'pubs who would control that majority.

Welcome to FreeRepublic.

You can shove your party unity. I'm not a republican. I'm a conservative.

Yep, it's time to unite behind McDaniel. That is what you are saying? Right?

Joining forces with the man who pointed blame at conservatives for “obsteucting Obama” is no answer either.

I think some of these Cochran “supporters” are rats trying to ensure that the anger at Thad remains ginned up, News flash-we are angry at him because the man who says the TP is wrong to obstruct Obama’s marxist agenda, has it coming, not because we oppose conservatism. If we opposed conservatism, we’d support him, and Hussein.

Ya, let’s get behind the RINOs, they have a winning record... when the party establishment pisses on you and tells you to like it, that it’s for your own good, I say screw party unity. Hope Thad and the rest of you “Party Twits” reap the whirlwind to which you have sewn.

Just as Israel is condemned by much of the world for refusing to negotiate with enemies whose opening negotiation position is for Israel to be destroyed, what you're proposing is that we conservatives shut up, "play nice" and act in accord with the GOPE establishment who have publicly and loudly denounced us as bigots and now as kooks, who lie, steal and cheat (against fellow Republicans) to hold onto their individual power, and whose leaders have set a goal to destroy us.

God bless the soul of Ronald Reagan ... and I don't think his "Eleventh Commandment" applies to the duplicitous people who lead and who make up a significant portion of the Republican Party which has rejected many of Reagan's principles.

Party Unity My Posterior!

The Republican Party has fought the Tea Party harder than the Democratic Party.

Shame on y'all for these scurrilous attacks on Thad Cochran. He is the True Saviour of the Republican Party.

After all, Jesus just turned water into wine. Thad has performed a True Miracle...he's turned blacks into Republicans.

“Much as it pains me to say it, it’s time to put Party Unity first”

The voting base of the party was unified, against Cochran. Cochran lost the Republican vote in Mississippi.

I was actually welcoming you aboard FREE REPUBLIC.

Not the Cochran band wagon. FEC now looking into the "missing" $15K. Half or more of ballots reviewed are fraudulent. Entire election smells like that chicken the Swamp People put on hooks to catch alligators.

I see this thing being reviewed and overturned by the courts. If not State, then Federal Court.

Without marching orders, individual Mississippians just went to work for Thad, from Oxford to Madison to the Coast, and gradually the heavy artillery arrived with reinforcements.

That is just so much BS.....................
