All of this discussion assumes - quite wrongly - that the point is to arrive at rational solutions to Ameica’s problems.
That is NOT the point.
The point is to socialize everything under the sun, so that the government will have every power over everyone, forever.
It’s a sort of ‘soft’ Marxist/Leninist takeover of the nation.
