It’s going to be tough to prove a first degree murder case, since it’s preposterous to think someone would plan a murder like this. Second degree is probably what they’ll threaten him with, and then they will plea down to manslaughter for a guilty charge.

They’ll threaten murder 2 and then they’ll “accept” a plea on manslaughter 1, which is what they were gonna charge anyway. Unless the perp hires one of those “pit bull in a brooks brothers suit” lawyers who will tie this thing up for a couple of years.
