Apparently the father was doing web searches about how hot it had to be to kill a child in a car BEFORE the child's death. Apparently some speculation that this man didn't want to be a father and was looking for a way to kill his child while making it look unintentional. Other web articles suggest that he was "sexting" other women in the workplace and going to Internet forums discussing the virtues of being "child free."
Anyway, the articles online are a mess. If anybody can piece together a cohesive picture of what is going on here, many of us outside Georgia would appreciate it.
I listened for a while, but had to stop. He was “sexting” with several women, some of them underage, while he was at work as his son was roasting in the car. This and other things are making it look more and more like it was no accident. Poor kid.

Yeah, well this piece is basically blogging during the hearing, you are right it’s not too coherent. Hopefully the guy will write it up a little more fully later.
I can’t believe the things that are revealed here. Who the hell is “sexting” while they are at work. Did you see the guy? He just looks like a schlub, he makes Anthony Weiner look like Clark Cable and Tiger Woods look like Sidney Poitier. What dopey dames are “sexting” with a schlub like this guy.
That poor baby, it’s like he never stood a chance with this creep as his father!
It provides many of the details of the event. One fact the story leaves out is that surveillance cameras recorded Harris returning to his vehicle 2 hours after arriving at work.
Personally, I believe his wife was in on it, too. One inquiry that I am still waiting for is the testimony of the daycare center. There have been a number of bad incidents here in Atlanta over the years including a recent event where daycare workers left a child they were caring for in a van. So in order to protect themselves, daycare centers here will usually call the parents to find out why a child has not shown up as scheduled at their center. And if it turns out that they did call the wife or left a message with her and she was home to receive that message, then it shows a murder conspiracy between the two.
