It's always a good career move to get fired when you are in that business. It establishes your "cred" as a shock jock and you end up with a more lucrative offer somewhere else. This is the same guy who was canned at a Boston area station for pranking (on April 1) that the mayor of Boston was killed in a car wreck. He went on to make millions after that.
How do you think Howard Stern got to where he is today? He kept getting fired and then got hired somewhere else for more money. However, Stern is very smart. He hired a black, female sidekick who insulates him from any charges of sexism or racism.
