NOT being one myself - I would imagine there are scads of dog shiite lovers that would take mighty umbrage to having their favorite subject denigrated in this manner - being lowered to the level of one ‘Harry Reid’.
In a respect, how is this deal any different than any other Pol who ‘writes a book’ with a guarantee of millions of dollars and within a week the ‘pre pub sales(HA’) kick it into the NY SLIMES ‘best seller’ list’.
OR (a Pol putting his house up for ‘sale’ with a ‘close’ friend ‘buying’ it for almost 3 times the asking price, then taking a loss on the resale OR just lease it back to the Pol for ‘peanuts’.)
Two weeks later ALL the stores that were FORCED to stock it end up putting it in the ‘Bargain Basket’ and Amazon/ebay etal can’t ‘give it away’.
Yet, they get to parade them around ‘AT THE PUBLISHERS EXPENSE’ (US by the time the dust really settles)
and all the TAX DEDUCTIONS are claimed for a ‘Bad Business Deal’.
BO ‘claims’ to have written a few books.... All right, maybe a possibility BUT how can a person claim to be an ‘author’ when - when left on his own - can’t put 3 sentences together without ‘blowing his own horn’ or ‘blaming someone else for his short comings’, laced with thousands of ers and ahs etc etc etc ...
Didn’t Newt G ‘out’ ‘Fort Worthless’ Jim Wright on the ‘book deal’ and the people that were ‘invited’ to $1000 breakfast meetings with the ‘book’ being a bonus.
Naturally the ‘gift’ went as a ‘sale’ BUT wasn’t considered a gift cause one got a cup of coffee and a ‘stale cruller’, along with the book for the thousand bucks..
