You story is compelling, and I have no reason to doubt it...
The fact that some parents never fought it is indicative of the lackluster response to this effort, by officials, elected or appointed, that are not held sufficiently in check by their communities...
you did well, and you need to continue to be that lightning rod and irritation to those officials, try to duplicate yourself as well...Get others as outraged and on the horn with these people every single chance you get...And then force the changes in those organizations by putting people in there that will not be swayed by the purveyors of this usurpation of the “rule of law” in this country...
It will not happen overnight, it may not even happen in our lifetime, but we need to foment the legacy of this return to virtuous behavior, and it needs to start somewhere...

Hillary is going to be running on a third party ticket, the “Third Way”, the Clintons first started the Third Way campaign back in late 1998 early 1999.
The objective is to get Hillary elected at all cost.
The 1960’s radical left’s dream for over 45 years has been to destroy the country then rebuild it to a Utopian dream world.
Obama is the destroyer, Hillary is supposed to be the rebuilder.
Obama and Hillary are a team.
For Hillary’s “Third Way” campaign to work she needs to be able to say both sides, left and right, are extremist and therefore their extremist ideas don’t work because they only appeal to and benefit the small number of extremist of both sides.
Hillary’s “Third Way” will put party aside and she will represent everyone else, the center, and not just a few extremist on the left or right.
Her policies will be for everyone, not just the extremist.
You can call it crony capitalism, you can call it fascism/Nazism, you can call it Third Way, it doesn’t matter what you call it it’s still radical leftism and the objective is absolute power.
They are following the example of 1930’s Germany.
Obamas objective for the next 2 1/2 years will be to create as much chaos as possible so each side, left and right, can blame the other and everyone will be disgusted with both parties and call for a “Third Way”.
For the next 2 1/2 years we’re going to get civil unrest, economic collapse, and terrorist attacks.

They want American citizenship, but they don't want to become American. This is what McCain and his ild never, ever acknowledge. No one ever asks the "illegal immigrants" (they're not immigrants, they're infiltrators) if they want to become American (ie assimilated to OUR culture). Never, ever.

Your assertion that it is acceptable to the politically ignorant voting public that Hillary would get a “political pass” on the creation of a third party political apparatus, and be anointed as its sole proprietor of any elected office is just not very feasible...
If conservatives on our side of the political equation are being chastised for ever bringing up the same argument for a third party, why would she be given ANY leeway, or political clout for this effort???
Now, I do agree that she and Bill are outstanding fundraisers, and that they could get a ton of cash support for a presidential campaign, regardless of the operations functions, and buzzwords associated with a campaign for that office...
She will get the media support obviously...that’s a gimme...

I taught for many years and your grand children’s experience reminds me of a similar situation regarding the “handicapped”. The law requires that the handicapped (this includes mental, physical, behavioral, etc, etc) must be accommodated, no matter what up to the age of 21. If this should come at the expense of normal kids, so be it. Children with IEPs (Individualized Education Program) have first call on a district’s resources. This right is enshrined in Federal law and trumps state or local law. Sounds like the rights of ‘immigrants’ are in a similar situation since federal courts have ruled that districts must educate immigrant children—legal or otherwise.
Keep up the fight and post your experience far and wide in letters to the editor of as many local newspapers as you can.
Your grandkids are lucky to have you as their Nana.
All I can figure is, 1. greed for cheap labor, 2. feelings of smugness and superiority from "anti-racists" who do not have to live anywhere near the illegals, and 3. terror of being called the "R" word.
