Rick Perry: Obama administration 'either are inept or don't care' about border crisis
Washington Examiner ^ | July 6 2014 | Joseph Lawler

Texas governor Rick Perry amplified his criticism of the Obama administration's handling of the ongoing immigration crisis in south Texas Sunday morning, saying that administration officials "either are inept or don't care."

Perry explained that he'd warned the Obama administration two years ago about the increase in unaccompanied minors arriving at the Texas border. The situation unfolding now is a "failure of diplomacy, it is a failure of leadership from the administration in Washington, D.C.," he said.

Perry referenced his 2010 request for National Guard troops to protect the border and allow the Border Patrol to train more agents. He claimed that there are only seven Border Patrol agents a mile in Texas, as opposed to 15 in California.

The 2008 Republican presidential candidate also placed blame on Obama for encouraging immigrants to come to the country without authorization."The president has sent powerful messages time after time by his policies, by nuances, that it is O.K. to come to the United States, and you can come across and you'll be accepted with open arms," said Obama.

Perry also defended the comments he made in June suggesting that the Obama administration might be involved in conspiring to facilitate immigration from Central American countries.

Noting his previous efforts to warn the administration of the growing problem with illegal immigration by families and unaccompanied minors from Central America, Perry explained that "I have to believe that when you do not respond in any way, that you are either inept or you have some ulterior motive."

If Perry doesn’t do that, I don’t think he has a heart.

Come on Rick say the truth. He is seizing power through a racist revolution with foreigners. He hates America and he wants it to be another place taken over by another people.

There really is no other explanation.

As if "inept" and "don't care" are the only choices.

How about it fits in with his mission to destroy this country. -Tom

One man’s perceived ineptness or incompetence is another man’s agenda.

Perry assumes that Obama has the same goals. Obama (or Valerie) are calculating. They know exactly what they are doing. They may miscalculate some of the time, but they slowly inch forward in the fundamental transformation of America.

That is true.

Everything The Won has done since he took office has been dedicated to the destruction of Western Civilization in general and this country in particular.

Say what it is. A deliberate act.

“’either are inept or don’t care’ about border crisis”

There is a third choice and more probable choice: “planned and intentional”.

You can’t speak the truth these days because the truth is politically incorrect.

Neither. The plan is being implemented on many levels and the outcome, while still in doubt, is looking grim for the Republican Party and more importantly, the nation.

"I have to believe that when you do not respond in any way, that you are either inept or you have some ulterior motive."

My guess is B. The pattern is too obvious to go with A alone.

For Perry, this invasion is nothing more than opportunity for PR. Guess he’s looking to run for president again.

If he really cared about this issue, he’d stop playing up to the media and take action.
