Not kidding, the cooling direction has positive feedback. This is very dangerous. As Earth cools ice accumulates increasing the Earth's albedo which reflects more of the Sun's energy into space which causes the Earth to cool and more ice to form...
In geologic time Earth is better named Ice.

That's what the climate fearmongers were screeching about in the 1970s ... By the year 2010, Cleveland OH was going to be buried under a glacier. (A good idea, IMO. Sorry, Canadians ...)
