OK...Makes perfect sense (Helps if one is a LIB)

I was born in 1939.
Hawaii was attacked in 1941.
We dropped an ABomb(2) in Japan in 1945.
I was in Hawaii in 1957 and Japan in 1957.

If I were a LIB, I could get away with saying I was in Japan and Hawaii where an attack took place and the ASSUMPTION being I was there for the ‘action’, if one wants to think that way you ignore the facts, if one ‘questions’ your words you just scoff and say you were taken out of context.

NEVER NEVER NEVER even hint at the fact that IN FACT, you were NOT in Hawaii or Japan in 1941 or 1945.

Sadly, that is about the same type of ‘explanation’ you will get from ‘them’.....AND, they are just so damned stupid that instead of letting it go, they just keep trying to convince you they WEREN’T lying, and no matter how many forged documents, or photo shopped photos it takes, they will continue to try and ‘ram it home’.

On that same basis - I was born in 1951, just in time to beat back the invasion of South Korea. And since I was on active duty in 1973, I can take credit for getting all of the South Vietnamese refugees safely out of the country, and then in 1991 I single-handedly defeated Saddam Hussein.

That is the sort of logic John Kerry used when he managed to be grazed by a ricochet from the grenade launcher he fired (requiring a single Band-Aid to cure), and then put himself in for a Purple Heart.
