I’m a tenderfoot (and Im not talkin boy scouts here)...Never have been one for the barefoot gig...unless Im walking on a beach or wet grass.
I live in my home in “slippersocks”...I dont want to touch anything with my foot that shouldnt be touched...LOL and I say that as one who has vivid memories in her past of getting up to the bathroom late at night and stepping on a moist freshly puked up hairball (damned cats!)
Hahahahaha! One of my cats puked in my clogs one night, and when I slipped it on at 3am, I felt the cold, wet *stuff* but didn't realize it (half asleep) until I got down to the kitchen and started OJ and coffee and breakfast. Yuk. I couldn't kick it off; had to sit and pull it off. Filled-up a bucket with hot water, stuck my foot and gunked-up klog in it while I had juice and coffee, and hopped up the stairs to the showers. Both cats just sat and smiled.
