That purple cell from last night ripped down 3 more limbs at Dad's in the back 3ac; all 8-10" monsters. I burned-up his old saw this morning and will buy a new Stihl monster tomorrow from the construction contractor's store I rented equipment for his sidewalk/drive.

Beautiful new hybrid of an old variety of Black-Eyed Susan I grew at the Farm, are now commercially available:
Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii "Autumn Colors", 18-24" and bloom 3-4 weeks in mid-summer. Gold Finches are attracted to the dried seed pods like bees to syrup.
BIG PIC WARNING!

Just bought one of these heavy duty battery powered
hedge trimmers and I have to say it works very well. Thinking about buying the chainsaw and edger that works on the same battery. They even make a 40 volt but they are 5 times the price. No gas no oil is pretty nifty.
