Catholics importing more poor Mexican...Lutherans importing more Somalians to get signed up for MN welfare... there are plenty of ‘religious’ leftists always clamoring for bigger gubmint ‘safety nets’ .

IIRC,Catholic Charities now gets 40% of their $ from gubmint grants.

Funny you should mention that...on Rush’s program yesterday, he took a call from a retired physician and the man’s wife, who live in southern California. Both are Catholic, and on Monday night, they were summoned to an “urgent” meeting of their local congregation.

At the meeting, parishioners were urged to take in some of the “children” who have flooded our borders in recent months. Members of the church were told not to worry; any costs they incur with feeding and housing the illegals will be reimbursed by the local diocese. And one more thing (curiously enough), parishoners at the meeting were told not to discuss the initiative with the media.

Here’s a link to the transcript:

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2014/07/08/stunning_california_couple_says_they_were_asked_to_house_immigrant_children

The couple reports that the Obama Administration approached the diocese about “taking in” the illegals, despite the fact there is a FEMA resettlement camp at the former Norton AFB, less than 10 miles away.

Clearly, the operative word is resettlement, and not return. As “The New York Times” reported over the weekend, about 85% of the illegals who have entered the country have been delivered to so-called “family members” already in the states.

Barry has no intention of sending them home and the GOP-e is along for the ride, hoping a few of the illegals might somehow vote for one of their candidates.

Charity is a good thing - but not when they are using other people's money! A Catholic refuse center in Nashville (I don't know the exact name, could be what you said) dumps their charity cases on Tennessee's Medicaid system as soon as they can. Probably much more, food stamps, housing subsidies, who knows? Forcing tax payers to pay for a 'charity' so they can look good is NOT biblical in the least.
