I don’t care if Howie continues to be carried on WRKO, but I’d like to see him free to move elsewhere. I doubt that his show will work as well if he tries to do it from Florida. Part of his appeal is knowing the inner workings of Mass politics/politicians, and it will be much more difficult to keep that going from Florida. Perhaps he can keep the topics broad and on a national level.

Very true—he may have been fantasizing about doing his show from a “Southern Command” as Rush does. But hey, maybe he could do it from the Cape and move there...?

In Boston the only other poss. option for Howie if WRKO doesn’t take him back (getting the show via syndicator) is really WUFC 1510 at this point (currently runs Beck, Hannity, Dennis Miller etc). No
“FM talker” unless you count the moonbat stuff on public radio. WBZ has no room for him and prob. wouldn’t put him on even if they did (I can’t picture the immigrant horn/”Milford man” on WBZ), but who knows. I’d think RKO would sign up
for his show unless they decide to abandon talk.
