I just noticed that FedEx came by... two boxes were sitting on top of the mailbox by the road. Thanks FedEx for leaving them where anyone could grab them.
I guess its better than when that UPS guy dropped one over the fence onto the concrete. (thank God I was outside when the laptop came though)

Glad you noticed in time. I had the same experience with FedEx. My original driver always drove down my long curved driveway, gave my barking dog a bone, and carried anything heavy onto my porch. A real gentleman. Then FedEx hired an Amish driver for my route who wouldn't come into my driveway, did nothing but complain. And he left an envelope containing a cashiers check for five figures out on the road, not in, but next to my mailbox. Anyone could have picked it up unnoticed. I was screaming on the phone to fedex, all they could tell me was that it "had been delivered."
