No, but a little planing would go a long way. Like maybe call ahead? Of course planning is not one of 0’s strong points.

Anyway, I just see a big crash and burn coming for this country and it’s breathtaking how quickly under Obama we’ve gotten to this dire place.

I don’t know why, but I’ve been to supposedly good BBQ places around here (the NW) and they aren’t that good, in my opinion.
He planned the crisis at the border pretty well. Even going so far as to advertise the need to for private institutions to take care of 65,000 illegal alien children months in advance.
2:15 p.m. update: Arriving at Franklin Barbecue in East Austin after his speech, President Barack Obama
cut ahead in the ever-present line, with apologies.
“I know this is a long line. I feel real bad, but – I’m gonna cut,” the president said. He then bought
the meal for the family that was first in line.
When the family ordered 6 pounds of meat, Obama said: “Now hold on. How many folks are you guys feeding?
Just kidding.”
When he arrived at the restaurant, he called out, “Hey guys! I hear the barbecue is pretty good
here. Is that true?”
If I was the P I would have enough common sense to make one of my “helpers” stand in line so when I got there I would have still obeyed the rules.

There’s a story told about the Crab Cooker in Newport Beach CA. A famous spot where the lines go out the door most evenings.
When Nixon resigned, he would occasionally go to Angel games as a guest of owner Gene Autry.
With a game coming up he expressed an interest to eat at the Crab Cooker. One of his staff called and said they would like to make a reservation.
The person on the line said, I’m sorry sir we don’t make reservations.
The staff said, You don’t understand it’s for president Nixon.
The reply, I’m sorry, you don’t understand, We don’t take reservations.
This is how legends are born.
He also has people who could have just called in the order and picked it up. Apparently they didn’t eat it there anyway.

We used to have a populace with a large (enough) number of people reasonably well-versed in both civics and economics.
Obamacare is predicated on the notion that the centuries-long understanding of economic laws like supply and demand no longer apply. Anyone with a cursory understanding of macroeconomics can see, plainly, that it can’t work. Ever.
The problem is that even cursory understandings of macroeconomics have been educated out of the American public, through a combination of crappy education policies, the duplicity of a compliant media and a completely ineffective (and distracted) GOP opposition.
I really blame the GOP for this. A scorpion is going to be and act like a scorpion, like the old parable says, right? The economic case for what’s really happening here is easy to make. The GOP (and many Conservatives) just aren’t investing in the effort to make it.

Today is cow appreciation day at Chik Fil A. Dress like a cow (wear spots) and get a free meal.
It’s also free Slurpee day at 7-11. My wife and son are traveling form MD to MI today. He’s stopping at every 7-11 he can find along the way but she refuses to get off the turnpike.
They left around 8 and the promotion doesn’t start to 11 am.

Do not know about this joint, but the President should have ordered ahead of time and had it ready for him when he arrived. That is what one would do if they cared about people waiting in line.
He should have been refused service. They could have gone national with a chain just on that publicity alone.
Even the Leader of the Crony World has to wait in line here.
That is what a humble man would have done, but Obama thinks of himself as a god.
