Sorry to hear that. How does a kid get its hands on uranium ore?
Oneâs father has a shelight mine and he brings samples home and keeps them in the workshop where she finds them and uses them as hills in her dirt village ( with milk carton houses and toilet tissue center silos). I am not sure how to spell shelight but in the day time you used a Geiger counter to find it while at night one used a black light as this ore would glow a beautiful green, just the same color as certain scorpions, as my dad unfortunately found out. By the way the US government took his mine under the eminent domain laws. The ore assayed very high. He never forgave them. He was chagrined when years latter we realized my little villages were so hot!
