Are Beck and Company Funding Lawlessness in the Name of Jesus
American Thinker ^ | July 12, 2014 | M. Catharine Evans

Glenn Beck has set up Mercury One Children and Family Border Relief Fund to help illegals coming into the United States. He’s already raised $600,000. Beck stated that Obama would not have to step in and ask for $3.7 billion if private charities would pick up the slack and give to the swarm of illegals crossing the border.

Is he kidding?  Do we really need more churches and non-profits enabling this blatant attack on America?

Rich people and liberal elite billionaires have no skin in the game when it comes to the consequences of illegal immigration so what do they care?

It’s the working class and middle class who will take the hit. It’s not bad enough that Team Obama is giving  illegals free rein when it comes to social services, we have to witness do-gooders on our side making public displays of their “Christ-like” behavior towards people who are breaking the law while telling us to walk in love.

..Compassion for the down-and-out is fine, but invading a nation by the tens of thousands is an act of war.

...What really bites about all of this is the implication that those of us standing against this monstrous disregard for the law are not following Christ’s teachings. Is funding Obama’s plan to destroy this country in the New Testament

Why privately subsidize this Obama scheme?

We oppose it and want the them returned and forbidden entrance in the first place, do you think the federal government is going to bring them in and then starve them while in federal custody, if we don’t raise private funds?

“Just another excuse for not solving the problem now, in hopes that they can use them for votes later.”

Then you must not really understand how government works or fails to work, because courts that do not exist cannot hear cases and resolve the huge immigration backlog. Congress has to actually pay to establish courts to deal with the asylum and other immigration problems that they themselves created. The president, even if his heart was in the right place (it’s not of course), cannot force immigration courts to speed up the process. The government requires $ to make things happen, and even when they have plenty of $, they’re still terribly inefficient.

Like I wrote earlier, I believe immigration law permits people to enter the country, surrender to border patrol, and apply for asylum. They are then given a hearing date which might be years later. I might wish this weren’t so, but if it’s the law, government officials cannot simply ignore it. Prove me wrong—please!—by referring to any law that refutes what I perceive is the normal, legal asylum process.

No. The federal government won’t starve the kids, but it won’t do much beyond the bare minimum to take care of them either. Some of these children are very young. What’s wrong with people voluntarily donating supplies? These donations won’t change the law or political battles one bit. If it’s voluntary charity and helps treat the children more humanely, what’s the problem?

Change the asylum laws, and fund extra courts to fast track these asylum claims! Get them out of this country ASAP, but until that happens, what’s wrong with treating these children as we’d treat our own children? Isn’t that the moral thing to do regardless of the law and politics of the situation?

It seems to me Congress needs to find some way to fast track these immigration cases and tighten the criteria that is used to allow people to immigrate here.

He has said repeatedly that they should be sent home ASAP — but that we need to care for them while they’re here. He hasn’t said that they should stay, though he has said he understands why they come — as I do.

He noted that part of the problem in Honduras, BTW, is a coup that Obama supported. Where else are you going to hear that?

I will concede nothing. You have yet to make your case that Beck is funding evil. The unwillingness is on your part.

Age is no excuse.

If you want to support Obama's goals, then keep calling on conservatives to support his efforts and donate money to help defray the cost of his operation to his federal agencies.

This is a federal operation inside of the United States, Obama can do without our donations to his cause, the feds aren't starving kids.

PS The person you SHOULD be accusing of funding evil is Obama...who began doing so via grant money from HHS (to specifically pay for the arrival and handling of immigrant children) in 2010.

Romney didn’t even fight. He laid down after the first debate. He’s a mush headed liberal who blows like the wind and looks like he sells cars. If he would have put up the slightest fight, shown some tiny bit of spine, and not kissed Obama’s backside he could have had the thing. But he didn’t....

He ran a wretched campaign. I voted for the sorry bum, but we have a Freeper brigade primarily made of Mormons, who pine endlessly for this repeated loser and betrayer, and blame everybody but Obama and his cohorts for what is happening in the country, while giving Romney and his campaign a complete pass for their ineptitude and cowardice. It gets very tiresome.

Liars all.

I would not say 'all'.

In my experience; most are DECEIVED by the LIEs of MormonISM, and have NO clue as to the falseness of it all.

There are those, however, who are FULLY aware of the heresy that is MORMONism; yet CHOOSE to stay with it for their own reasons.

I wonder which group Ronnie Haskell will eventually be placed into...

Phooey on the 'funding' part!

Do you think people, streaming across our border unhindered and illegally, is EVIL in the least?

Office of First President & Living Prophet®:

November 8, 2012

Fellow MORMON Freeper Christians!!

I must apologize and ask for forgiveness from you all.

As you know, we at Headquarters NEVER tell you pew warmers how to vote. It says so right in our press releases. Anyway, we were ALL thrilled to the max when there were two – TWO! – MORMONs being touted in the primaries: Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman.

Talk in our upper chambers high above SLC was how our gods were favoring us with these men; who had prepared their entire lives for an opportunity to save this Nation; which so badly needs guidance: OUR guidance even! So naturally, I and the other twelve analyzed and discussed the situation.

Consensus was that the voters should listen to the inner urging and vote for the one they wanted; but that seemed to be leaving WAY too much to chance.

I decided, that since I am the ONLY man on earth that can hear GOD’s voice, that I would pray for wisdom and clarity in the matter.

I hadn’t used the fleece in a while, so I questioned GOD with a test. A paper, with Romney on one side and Huntsman on the other was to be placed by the air conditioning vent high above my desk in the sumptuous office the Full Tithers have provided.
When the air would kick in later in the evening, while I was home, the paper would be blown down and whomever GOD wanted would then be visible on the upper surface.

As you can probably guess, when I came in the next day, the paper had landed on my desk, with Mitt’s name on top.
Last night, I was staying late, praying to GOD about how it was even possible that Mitt lost, when the janitorial cleaning crew came in. Being surprised to find me here, they apologized for interrupting me. I said to them, “It mattereth not, as I was about to leave anyway.”

As I was going out the door, the foreman of the crew just happened to mention that my office is ALWAYS so neat and tiny, never anything out of place, that they barely have to do anything to tidy up. Then one of the sweepers said, “Except that time in the spring when we came in to clean and found a paper with Huntman’s name on the floor by your desk. We put it back on your desk and left.

Tommy M.

PS Keep praying that Huntsman will add an “H” to his name. Jon looks so dang effeminate!

Onward to 2016!!!

Are you aware that a lot of this is being done legally....according to changes in the law? Why do you focus on Beck when such corruption comes directly from Obama? I am no great supporter, in general, of Glen Beck but he is simply treating the children (Obama’s pawns) with kindness. We should be aiming our criticism and ire at those directly committing the evil.
