That’s exactly right, and that goes for all of these so-called journalists that smear Palin

Recently stumbled upon a PBS television program from the mid '80s with Milton Friedman on YouTube which featured a young David Brooks. Young Brooks, described as a Social Democrat, was just as misguided then as he is now. Friedman schools young Brooks.

Mark Shields is still around? I think he pretty much
invented the term "chickenhawk" back in the '80s. I bet he can't stand Brooks!
I miss Bob Novak.

Cloud Cuckoo Land?
Unfortunately only in today’s Liberal controlled world. Just reverse the roles and parties, if Sarah Palin, or any other conservative, was doing the things Obama was doing s/he would not only have been impeached but would now be residing in a cell in Leavenworth.
But that’s not how it is, Mr. Obama because of his party, his skin color and his far left politics is immune to the remedy the constitution allows for actions such as his.

David Brooks is a known asshole.
From: http://hotair.com/archives/2009/08/31/the-obligatory-david-brooks-really-impressed-with-obamas-pants-post/
That first encounter is still vivid in Brookss mind. I remember distinctly an image ofwe were sitting on his couches, and I was looking at his pant leg and his perfectly creased pant, Brooks says, and Im thinking, a) hes going to be president and b) hell be a very good president. In the fall of 2006, two days after Obamas The Audacity of Hope hit bookstores, Brooks published a glowing Times column. The headline was Run, Barack, Run.

Taking the constitution seriously = “Cloud cuckoo land” in the rarefied atmosphere of the Beltway.

And the president of the USA ( or his daddy) may not be from Kenya or Indonesia, either.

But impeachment was the only serious solution for Nixon.
Can anyone get quotes from liberal dinosaurs about Nixon’s unforgivable crimes. And can anyone find even one article calling impeachment frivolous or ridiculous.
Finally, how many Republicans joined in on the call to impeach.
How can these two-faced bigots ever call anyone a hypocrite?

The same crowd laughed at Paula Jones too. There are no consequences to being wrong if you toe the party line.
Brooks isn’t even a Republican-he’s loves government at its present size.

Exactly. If she were really irrelevant, the media wouldn’t talk about her all the frickin time.

The liberal republican, who does not know why he is a republican, cannot name one major issue where they can provide a contrast from democrats, has no core principles or ideals. Such a one is in "cloud cuckoo land", and Brooks is in the forefront. The NYT loves their pet pretend repub.
