I’m now concerned that the NG would be ignored by the illegals. Brit Hume and the lapdog press are constantly pointing out that the guard wouldn’t be able to do anything but apprehend them. They might as well tell them “We’ve got the NG on the border but their guns aren’t loaded.”

You bet it is. Don’t the governors have the authority to call out the NG for service? I thought Gov Perry of TX intended to do just that.
