Rahm Emanuel’s strategy is to use his big money to frighten off credible challengers. In 2011, he effectively bought the mayoralty spending almost $40.00 in campaign funds for each vote that he polled.
Karen Lewis is a rabble rouser and not well qualified to be mayor.
Take the poll for what it is: another indicator of how loathed Emanuel is.

I HATE Rahm so much that I miss Daley, and I HATED Daley.
But if he’s in a runoff with Teacha the Hutt or Toni Preckwinkle (who leads him by 24! points in a hypothetical contest), I’d vote for him without hesitation.
You’d have to search to long and hard to find a worse choice than Teacha the Hutt, she’s on a par with Mosesly-Fraud. Mel Reynolds maybe.

Too many reporters and talk show hosts talk about Karen Lewis and Toni Preckwinkle, who aren’t running, but they don’t talk about William Kelly, a conservative, who announced, on June 20, that he’s running for mayor of Chicago. If you think that those reporters and hosts should mention William, please email those media members and ask them to mention him. His site is www.williamjkellyforchicago.com.
Prickwinkle has announced yesterday she’s not running (Blackmail?).
Teacha the Hutt (or Ms. Choksondik as Hockeyfan44 compared her to) is forming an exploratory committee.
The reason the media is talking about them is that they could win. I wouldn’t expect the bastards to mention Kelly.
