Sounds like a perfect place to open a concierge medical practice for all the disappointed limousine liberals who have the money to buy this kind of medical care and who want everyone else to fit inside the box they refuse to jump into.

NH will be the winner with companies (what is left)moving away from the Petri-dish (ie fungus). Let the hippies sort it out.

I’m astounded at the similarities between Vermont and Oregon. Far beyond the landscape and trees the culture and ignorance remain close as well.

...making sure that Vermont gets 90 percent of its energy from renewable sources by 2050...

Now THAT task is simple!

All they have to do is generate electricity with steam powered generators!

The steam will be produced by burning an infinitely renewable (at least in socialist Vermont) resource. Fat-cats like:

The personal-injury plaintiff’s bar.

Consultants like William Hsiao of the Harvard School of Public Health.

Senator Bernie Sanders

The five Democratic hopefuls who swore allegiance to the shining dream of single-payer health care.

The coalition of labor unions, environmentalists, anti-nukies, welfare advocates, feminists, global-warmists, land-use controllers, anti-gunners, and other Sanderista life forms.

Where have all the Doctors gone, long time passing?
Where have all the Doctors gone, long time ago?
Where have all the Doctors gone?
Socialist politicos kicked them, every one
When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn?

In October 2013, the Obama administration earmarked $170 million for the state to create this electronic wonder. This is in a state with 621,000 people, an estimated 65,000 (exclusive of Medicaid enrollees) of whom are expected to buy insurance coverage.

That's over $2600 per enrollee. Instead of buying a website that won't work, they should just take each enrollee on a nice Carribean cruise in the winter and have them sign a piece of paper at the end. Buy a couple of file cabinets and put the papers inside.

What they don’t mention in the article is the already instituted $12,000 deductible and co-pay scheme that will crash healthcare in the state as no one will avail themselves of medical treatment thus further impacting caregiver’s bottom line.
