Massachusetts Sheriff Tom Hodgson is speaking out against the flow of illegal immigrants to his state, saying, “We’re all becoming border states now.”
“We want to know, what are the trends? What’s happening? What can we expect? We know there are going to be more coming here from Texas. We’ve already had two groups coming off the planes here,” Hodgson told his local news station.
According to Hodgson, one immigration attorney in state has seen one hundred unaccompanied children come to his practice just over the past two months.
Hodgson is traveling to Texas with several other sheriffs to evaluate the situation on the ground.

Well, Cletus, your state is about to be overrun. Whachagonnado?
Send them all to Mass. They deserve everyone of these illegals.

Ahhhhhhh, now we get to the heart of the matter.

Especially when Obama is Importing them into your state.
Anyone else notice that :
1. states far from the border such as Massachusetts report that the illegal alien children are being resettled in their communities.
2. local officials are not being given any information about people being sent into their communities.
3. the federal government is not announcing any overall plan or goals for how to deal with the influx.
4. government officials such as congressmen report that they are being banned from these alien camps, that they are not permitted to see things for themselves.
5. the transparent Obama administration is very secretive about what is happening.
The border states have suffered mostly alone for far too long. Time for the other states, especially blue states who want all this compassion to experience it first hand. Seems they are of the “not in my backyard” variety of blue.
We are a nation of laws. They are ILLEGAL ALIENS. Our laws should be and must be respected or else what matters if not that?

He is the Sheriff of Bristol County and he is going to meet with other Sheriff’s to see first hand what’s going on there. I believe it is their intent to enforce the immigration laws of our country and defy the federal govt. We have one inmate who has been in a major Boston Hospital for over a month with some freak mystery disease costing taxpayers over a Million and a half dollars and that is just one g.d. illegal that came “for Love”!

To your points, I’ll add:
1) This situation, where the government dumps people on states, is somewhat reminiscent of the forced quartering of King George’s troops. An arbitrary, distant, unaccountable government is effectively stealing resources from local communities for its own purposes.
2) The dumping is occurring for now in a surprising number of relatively safe Democratic states to keep the furor down. No matter what happens, Massachusetts is in the Democratic column. Normally, I’d expect Obama to dump on red states because he’d like to stick it to ‘em. But, politics is everything with him, so I’ll be the avoids dumping illegals in purple states before the upcoming election. Afterwards, he’ll probably stop dumping on the blue states, and shift to the others. After all, he’s the “Won”.
I would like to see every reporter ask this question whenever someone is complaining about the results of some liberal/progressive/socialist action.
Enforce immigration laws and illegal aliens will leave. Announce that you will not enforce immigration laws and illegal aliens will come pouring in over the border.
All County Sheriffs and State Governors should simultaneously start removing illegal aliens and drive them back into Mexico. Uncle Scam can’t stop them all.
