Sounds interesting. Yes, imagine that the men would have to show the girls that they were marriage material. Imagine that the men would have to show they are working, that they are responsible citizens, not running with gangs, not in trouble with the law, etc.
We could see major good changes in society, if this happened. Basically, if men had to be responsible and behave themselves, and even get married, in order to have that deep female companionship in their lives, it might change the way a lot of people think.
Now, take the society that that produces, and that we once had,
and think in reverse - how would you destroy such a society and bring about what we have today...
