I think I’m going to give this one some time. There are some claims that the postings are forged. A lot of disinformation is likely going on in multiple directions.

I find it curious that the so-called rebel leader is calling himself “Strelkov.” The nom-de-guerre in Dr. Zhivago used by the husband of Lara turned communist sadistic killer was “Strelnikov.” The derivation of the name relates to shooting. Just odd.

They are speaking Russian with an Eastern Ukrainian accent, which doesn't make sense for an FSB colonel.
