As I recall there was a particular fan of Stern who specialized in such prank calls. I think he called himself Captain Janks.
That’s right, but the 1994 incident linked above didn’t involve “Captain Janks.” It was a guy who later called himself “Maury from Brooklyn” who was all pissed off about one of the networks interrupting the coverage of the NBA Finals to cover the OJ story ... so he began calling all of the various networks with this prank until he found one that put him on the air. LOL!!
