“Is Hugh Hewitt going liberal on us? What the heck?”

‘Going liberal’? ‘Center-Right’ Hugh has been liberal for a very long time. A liberal GOPe hack but a liberal all the same.

Hugh Hewitt has always been an establishment mouthpiece first and foremost. And the GOP establishment is definitely not conservative. He claims to be on the Right so that he can try to influence conservatives and sell them crap like amnesty and open borders. His pal Michael Medved is even worse.

When he arrived in California with his carpet bag in the 1990s the first thing Hugh did was to oppose Prop 187 and the grassroots conservatives who passed it. Prop 187 was an anti-illegal immigration bill for those who don’t remember.

I have more respect for open liberals, at least they aren’t lying to us about what they are.

Just yesterday Hugh Hewitt was telling one of his guests how much he admires Eric Cantor. Eric Cantor. Can you find a more disgusting GOPe hack?

In the California primary Hewitt supported Neel Kashkari over Tim Donnelly. Tim Donnelly is a tea party favorite whereas Neel Kashkari supports amnesty and gay marriage and he admits to having voted for Obama. There’s a ‘conservative’ candidate for you... at least in Hugh Hewitt’s eyes.

But Hewitt didn’t just support the liberal Neel Kashkari over Donnelly; Hewitt repeatedly denounced Donnelly as being an embarrassment of a candidate whose nomination would be a national disaster for the GOP.

This isn’t the first time that Hewitt supported a liberal Republican candidate for California governor over a conservative. Back when we recalled Gray Davis we had the chance to elect Tom McClintock. McClintock was an experienced California legislator and the real deal as a conservative. What he didn’t have is a big name ID and a lot of money. So guess who Hugh Hewitt supported? Arnold Schwarzenegger, the choice of the GOPe.

So it comes as no surprise to hear yet one more squishy liberal do-gooder idea pop out of Hugh Hewitt’s head. But I have to admit that his advocating mass-adoption of illegal alien kids may take the prize. Open Borders Hugh finds yet another way to convert the USA into the northernmost country of Latin America.

Why would you think that GOPe hosts would not be on Salem Radio? Do you have some incorrect perception that Salem is a right wing Conservative Christian network?

They are a secular radio network. They actually admonish their employees not to spend time praying at their desks, but to "pray on your own time". They make it clear to the employees at their "Christian" stations that they are not a Christian company, but they are secular company with a largely Christian audience.

Hugh Hewitt defines establishment crony republicanism.

Last I heard he was still a member of the Presbyterian Church USA which is the most anti-Israel and pro homosexual denomination in the country.

Yes I had the incorrect impression that Salem was a conservative but not exclusively Christian network. Prager and Medved are both Jewish.

Salem also accepts advertising (lots of it in my area) from divorce lawyers shilling for business. I found that odd for a supposedly Christian company.

“They want Reconquista.”

Bet you dollar to a doughnut he doesn’t have the slightest idea what “Reconquista” means.

Idiots like him believe it’s not real, it’s just something the “right wing haters” have made up.

He’s too ignorant to know what it means and too stupid to find out.

Salem is a secular for profit network that competes with Christian non-profit radio stations and networks.

One has to understand that Hewitt is an elite. He went to the best schools, got a law degree from an Ivy League school, worked in DC

"Five years ago, historian Christopher Lasch published The Revolt of the Elites [1995]. It was a book about how our national elite was literally seceding from America. Pointing out the huge and growing gap in income between the elite and the middle class, Lasch argued that a more ominous gap existed in how each perceived America.

The old elite, Lasch wrote, had a sense of obligation to country and community. But the new ruling class, more merit based, brainy and mobile, congregates on the coasts and puts patriotism far down the list in hierarchy of values. Indeed, said Lasch, “It is a question of whether they think of themselves as American at all.”

This is what Anus Flambé Hugh Hewitt is really saying. Allow me to translate. FRiends, in our not too distant future, people who look like him will be placed in petting zoos and that Obama will still be President.

Yes they should go to Forever Families but only to Caucasian Americans who are conservative and Republican. Get those ILLEGALS to be proud of America and to speak English.

The liberals would say close the border.

My Education dollars are for MY Human Capital development—
NOT for anyone who comes here ILLEGALLY!!!!

I’m learning 3-D printer graphics, and I DON’T have extra Taxes to pay MY tuition costs & those of 3 or 4 “Dreamers” — where the Heck does Hewitt get off, thinking we have limitless “public” Resources? I need to save money for retirement, medical expenses! I am tapped out, Mr. Hewitt — maybe YOU’RE rollin’ around in plenty of cash at your house, right? Then you are free to give charitably, as you please!!

It really incenses me that RINOs like Hewitt so casually propose we subsidize billions of others -— over our OWN unemployed American citizens & deserving, poorly funded Vets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
