WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Friday said Utah is not required to recognize the marriages of roughly 1,000 same-sex couples there while state officials pursue appeals.
The court’s order was two sentences long and said only that a lower court’s ruling “is stayed pending the final disposition of the appeal” by the federal appeals court in Denver.
Friday’s order came in a different case, one concerning the status of what the state calls “interim marriages,” meaning those entered into during that period in December and January when same-sex marriage was briefly allowed.
The case seeking recognition of the 1,000 or so marriages was brought by four same-sex couples represented by the American Civil Liberties Union.

I’m really surprised after watching some of the “shows” on history TV about the Founding Fathers that they failed to write sexual deviancy into the Constitution. I thought Kennedy wrote respecting states rights in his opinion last year....and Scalia WARNED in his dissent that Kennedy was being unrealistic about how his words would be interpreted.
I hope Kennedy now sees Scalia was CORRECT and sides with the Constitutionalists next time.

Yesterday the Tenth Circus upheld the district court’s decision overturning Oklahoma’s law that prohibited recognition of homosexual marriages. We have lost the issue, and even some faggot Indian tribes here are allowing queer Indians to marry on Indian land. But no matter what they want to call it two queers can not be married. Marriage is between a man and woman only, and nothing the legal authorities say can change the truth. You can demand that we all call a chicken a duck, but the truth is a chicken is always a chicken and a duck is always a duck. The truth will always win out. So the fags and their allies can play their little social games to make themselves feel better, but the world will always know they are simply perverts.
Homosexuals were never “discriminated against” by the legal definition of marriage being that of one adult male and one adult female, who are not directly related by familial relations.
The USA does not require anyone to state or affirm their private sexual activity preferences, as a condition for a legal marriage.
I’m not “homophobic”. I just see them as having several things “wrong” with their selves. They never will be normal That’s why they call their selves queer. Court rulings or laws never will change that reality.
