Obama Maintains Schedule Despite World Crises
WASHINGTON As smoke billowed from the downed Malaysian jetliner in the fields of eastern Ukraine on Thursday, President Obama pressed ahead with his schedule: a cheeseburger with fries at the Charcoal Pit in Delaware, a speech about infrastructure and two splashy fund-raisers in New York City.

It is rarely a good idea to return to the White House just for show, when the situation can be handled responsibly from the road, said Jennifer Palmieri, the White House communications director. Abrupt changes to his schedule can have the unintended consequence of unduly alarming the American people or creating a false sense of crisis.

People would become unduly alarmed if the Royal Idiot ever got off the golf course, interrupted his endless vacations or quit fundraising long enough to actually do some work.
Rush or Mark (can't recall which) let slip or intentionally stated all the people inside all of the supposed 'show up for food' are checked and vetted by the secret service but the media always states these were unplanned stops for food. Not true media! Why lie about something like this, media, when the truth is known?
Here’s what the Times said about Pres Bush in August 1990, smarminess from their MoDo
Risk???
Bush was pilloried for continuing to read a book to children for about 40 seconds after he learned about the 9/11 attack.

THE VACANT BOOBOAMA USES GW BUSH WHEN ITS CONVENIENT--- It is rarely a good idea to return to the White House just for show, when the situation can be handled responsibly from the road, said Jennifer Palmieri, the White House communications director. Libs/progs went berserk when Bush continued with his vsit to school children b/c Bush said he did not want to alarm the children nor the citizenry about the 9/11 attack.
He called that quality Energy in the Executive and said it was a leading character in the definition of good government.
Such a leader, he wrote, is essential to the protection of the community against foreign attacks and other dangers, including the enterprises and assaults of ambition, of faction and of anarchy.
Hamilton also acknowledged the risks if the unitary executive failed to carry out his duties. A feeble executive implies a feeble execution of the government. A feeble execution is but another phrase for a bad execution; and a government ill executed, whatever it may be in theory, must be, in practice, a bad government.
(A bad govt.....of Boobama's making).
Back then, his coolness seemed a virtue, especially compared to John McCains combustibility.
But nowadays, the coolness looks like indifference bordering on contempt. How else to explain his decision to go to fund-raisers, only hours after the horror in Ukraine?

Valerie Jarrett, WH aide, and longtime Obama family friend, described Obama to biographer David Remnick in terms that make the Oval Office sound beneath Obama.
I think Barack knew that he had God-given talents that were extraordinary. He knows exactly how smart he is, Remnick quoted her as saying. He knows how perceptive he is. He knows what a good reader of people he is.
She goes on in that vein, adding: Hes been bored to death his whole life. Hes just too talented to do what ordinary people do.
Or even ordinary presidents, apparently. (NY POST excerpts 7/19/14).
Road trip time again!
To 'stay the course' is a term used when the course is difficult... as in a war. It's not used lightly as in 'He 'stayed the course' flirting with the hooker at the bar. Or 'he stayed the course' fund raising...
I'm embarrassed for the New York Times... Michael D. Shear is officially nominated for "Obama Butt Kisser" of the Year for 2014...
I don’t know who is more disgusting, the writers at the NYT or the people who read them and believe every word.
It’s close...
Ramadan is over on July 28 and he can head for the big Massachusetts vacay in August.
