Thanks to Reformation Trust, Ligonier Ministries is giving away a church prize pack that consists of 200 copies of R.C. Sprouls latest book, Everyones a Theologian. This prize pack will be shipped to a church of the winners choice located within the United States of America or Canada.
In addition to the church prize pack, ten other winners will receive a single copy of Everyones a Theologian.
Everyones a Theologian is anything but a dry discussion of minute points of doctrine. R.C. Sproul, demonstrating his trademark ability to make complex subjects easy to understand, surveys the basic truths of the Christian faith, reminding us once more of what God is like and of what He has done for His people in this world and the next.

My hunch is that SoFlo is South Florida and you are somewhere near the Ligonier Campus. We have heard RC in AZ and in WA (a month ago) and appreciate his ability to describe the Gospel as the Scriptures paint it. It was apparent from Al Mohler, RC, and others at the WA conference, however, that world of Obama Law is crowding in on believers and within months, we are going to be suffering severely if we do not endorse his homosexual agenda.
Just what we need, more dime store theologians.
I have not read the book, but I believe that R.C.'s point is that YOU are a theologian whether you like it, or not!
Almost every class on worldview that I have attended started by pointing out that EVERYONE has a worldview. The only difference between people is that some understand that fact and have come to terms with it. Many are oblivious.
Whoa.
True! Everyone is a theologian,,,most are bad theologians.
No thank you.
Patrons of Theologians:
**YOU are a theologian whether you like it, or not! **
I don’t think so. Not unless you have taken three years or four years of theology.
I don't believe that Sproul is advocating the idea that everyone should take up the occupation of theologian and start spouting their new-found ideas. It is about the fact that whether you realize it or not, you have taken up "theological" positions, some of which comport with the Scriptures, some which do not. You are charged by those very Scriptures to apply some effort to bring as much of your thinking into alignment with those Scriptures as you are allowed. All along the way, your understanding is being managed by God.
