Yes, I do know they use them for live fire. I have participated with such exercises. Don’t believe everything that you think. The night in question the warning area Flight 800 cut through was live.

Warning Areas do not always require a NOTAM. You should google more carefully.

It has been well established that the Navy activated the warning areas. You just don’t know what you are looking for or at.

PETN and RDX were found on the seat cover in the unauthorized examination by the private lab. The FBI wanted to charge the people who took the sample to the lab with tampering and or something else.

Warning Areas do not always require a NOTAM. You should google more carefully. They do if there is any activity in the area that might pose any danger to flight safety. I would think your missile shooting would fall into that category.
