Maybe I am a little overwrought, but I don’t like my country being compared to Nazi Germany, and I don’t like an organization taking advantage of 24,000 allied troops, including 10,000 casualties, and more than 4,000 dead. They don’t deserve this.

It is confusing with the name, but in Normandy the Germans were the invaders and the US and British went there to restore the original order.

"I don’t like my country being compared to Nazi Germany,"

And I don't like my country ACTING like Nazi Germany.

Neither does Gilchrist, which is why he is trying to stem the tide of Nazi (aka Democrat) enablers into America. The name is slightly confusing, but the gist is that Overlord was meant to rescue a country, and what Gilchrist is trying to pull together is meant to rescue a country. So, Operation Normandy it is.
